Sue Springborn is a lifelong resident of North St. Paul and the fifth of six daughters born to Bob and Grace Hunter. A proud 1963 graduate of North High School, Sue has always called this community home. After marrying her husband, Ed Springborn, the couple raised their three children in North St. Paul, continuing the family’s deep roots in the city.
Before pursuing a career in nursing, Sue worked as a waitress at Weber’s Supper Club, a well-known gathering place in North St. Paul. She later returned to school and became a registered nurse, dedicating 29 years of her career to United Hospital, where she cared for countless patients with compassion and commitment.
Outside of her professional life, Sue has always been active in the community she loves. She was a longtime member of North St. Paul Green and continues to brighten downtown with two raised flower beds she tends each season. She has also served the city through her time on both the Environmental Commission and the Park Commission.
